Attention Smith's Shoppers!
NUMB is now a Smith's Inspiring Donations recipient. It's super easy to link your Smith's Fresh Values card to NUMB and when you do, 0.5% of your order total comes directly to us. It doesn't affect anything else about your order so why not participate?! NUMB received $29.66 last December from just 5 shoppers signed up. This money went directly into the Trail Fund which will be used this year to purchase rock and assist with equipment delivery for the Red Fleet flow trail (scheduled for a September 1 start date).
To link your Smith's value card to NUMB, simply go to https://www.smithsfoodanddrug.com/ and log in or create an account with Smith's. One there, search for Northeastern Utah Mountain Bikers by name or by number: HR360. Thank you!
Amazon Smiles is another way to donate to Northeastern Utah Mountain Bikers.
AmazonSmile is a website operated by Amazon with the same products, prices, and shopping features as Amazon.com. The difference is that when you shop on AmazonSmile, the AmazonSmile Foundation will donate 0.5% of the purchase price of eligible products to the charitable organization of your choice.
If Amazon Smiles is new to you, follow the easy steps below:
2) Login using your current user name and password
3) Enter "Northeastern Utah Mountain Bikers" in the
charity search bar and click search
4) When you see Northeastern Utah Mountain Bikers, click the select button
Note:
When you log into Amazon Smiles, you will see everything you see in your normal Amazon account. For
example, if you have items in your regular Amazon shopping cart, you will see those same items
in your cart when you log into Amazon Smiles.
Red Fleet Flow Trail Update
For those of you that donated to our Trail Fundraiser earlier this year, thank you once again! IMBA Trail Solutions came out to Vernal last month and completed the design to 85% this month. BLM and NUMB have the design in-hand and will begin working towards construction upon receipt of funding. We have been awarded $53,800 from the Utah Outdoor Recreation Grant. This grant requires at least a 50% match so we still need more money to come in before we can start construction, but it's a start!! We expect to hear from IMBA and Utah State Park's Recreational Trails Program before the end of the summer on those potential sources. Cross your fingers that they like our project and stay tuned for updates.
